StaffCo Direct Ltd in Coventry is seeking HGV Class 1 (CE) drivers for ongoing curtain-side trunking work. We offer immediate starts, consistent weekly bookings, paid breaks, and potential for block bookings and full-time positions.

Shifts are 10–12 hours with 8 hours paid, 2-day induction, AM/PM start times, and weekend work available. Must have valid HGV1 (CE) UK licence, CPC, Digital Tachograph, and up to 6 penalty points.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 (CE) UK licence held for at least 2 years.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 penalty points (no IN, DR, DD or TT convictions).
• Good communication and professional attitude.
• Physically fit and well-presented.

Responsibilities

• Complete curtain-side deliveries and trunking work.
• Typically 1–3 drops per shift with forklift-assisted unloading.
• Work shifts of 10–12 hours with 8 hours paid, paid breaks included.
• Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work and block-booking opportunities.

HGV Class 1 (CE) Driver - Coventry

£17.86 - £42.70ph| Weekly Pay | Block Bookings

StaffCo Direct is recruiting HGV Class 1 (CE) drivers for ongoing curtain-side trunking based in Coventry. We're looking for professional and motivated drivers for both AM and PM shifts, with immediate starts available. This is a well-organised operation offering consistent weekly bookings, paid breaks, and opportunities for block bookings and full-time positions.

Pay Rates (PAYE)

• Monday - Fri AM - £17.86ph plus holiday pay weekly
• Monday to Friday PM - £19.05ph plus holiday pay weekly
• Overtime (after 9 hours) AM & PM: £22.33 & £23.81

6th shift weekend work is paid at double time!

What the role involves:

You'll be completing curtain-side deliveries and trunking work, typically 1-3 drops per shift, with forklift-assisted unloading. Shifts are typically 10-12 hours, with 8 hours guaranteed pay, including paid breaks.

You'll be working Monday to Friday with additional weekend work available. A paid 2-day assessment and induction is required before starting, followed by ongoing block booking opportunities and potential full-time positions.

Start time AM - 02:00 - 05:00 AM

Start time PM - 16:00 - 20:00 PM

Our ideal candidate
