Job summary

Kinaxia Logistics & Fulfilment in Gateshead is recruiting Class 1 Dayshift Drivers. Salary £32,007.25 per year plus a monthly meal allowance of £108.33. You will complete daily vehicle checks, make deliveries and collections, and follow all procedures and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid LGV C&E (Class 1) licence for at least two years.
• Must have a valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC) / Driver CPC.
• Must own a valid Digital Tachograph Card.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Arrive on time and inform the traffic office of any issues.
• Follow company procedures, customer procedures and the Highway Code.
• Maintain health and safety standards at all times.
• Complete all deliveries and collections as manifested.
• Comply with EU tachograph and WTD regulations.
• Keep the vehicle clean and tidy.

About the Job:

• Ensure you complete daily vehicle checks to make sure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use.
• Ensure you arrive at your job on time, informing the traffic office of any issues.
• Follow all company procedures, customer procedures and the Highway Code

Your knowledge and experience:

• To hold a full LGV C&E (Class 1) licence for minimum of two years
• To have a valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC)/Driver CPC

• Good communication skills & geographical knowledge
