Uniserve is hiring a Class 1 C+E Day Driver for our Warrington operation. This full-time role involves day driving on a 4 on 4 off pattern, delivering to customer stores with trailers including double-deck options, and loading/unloading cages with tail lift equipment.

You'll perform daily vehicle checks, maintain accurate records, and work safely in store environments. The position requires a valid UK Class 1 licence, CPC, tachograph card, and a flexible approach to shift times, with a strong

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 C+E licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification card.
• Digital tachograph card.
• Understanding of Drivers Hours, WTD and road transport compliance.
• Physically able to move cages and perform manual handling.
• Flexible start times and shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 C+E vehicles safely per requirements.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Deliver cages to customer stores using tail lift.
• Manually unload cages from trailers and move into store areas.
• Reload empty cages onto trailers for return.
• Operate fixed and moving deck double deck trailers when required.
• Complete delivery paperwork, PODs and electronic records.
• Comply with Drivers Hours, WTD and tachograph rules.
• Communicate delays or issues with planners and customers.
• Represent Uniserve professionally with high safety standards.
