Job summary

Uniserve is seeking an experienced HGV Day Driver (Class 1) to support daily UK deliveries with a focus on safety and customer service. You will operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles, perform checks, and ensure on-time delivery in line with company standards.

The role requires a valid Class 1 licence, CPC and tachograph card, and ideally a minimum of 6 months’ experience. A clean licence (no DR/IN, max 6 points) is preferred. Weekend shifts may be required and the salary is competitive.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence.
• CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience preferred.
• No more than 6 points on licence (no DR or IN convictions)

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 1 HGV safely and efficiently
• Carry out pre‑ and post‑journey vehicle checks
• Deliver goods on time and in good condition
• Complete delivery paperwork and log sheets accurately
• Follow all UK driving regulations and company policies
