Job summary

Temp Station Ltd. are recruiting class 1 container drivers for our client based in London Gateway (SS17). The role involves using a skeleton trailer to collect and deliver containers, typically 1–3 deliveries per day with potential trailer swaps.

Training packages are available; induction on site is required; night and day shifts start between 17:00 and 19:00. Applicants should hold a Category C+E Licence, CPC and Digi card, and have no more than 6 points on their licence.

Temp Station are currently recruiting class 1 container drivers on Days & Nights for our client based in London Gateway (SS17)

Our client is a national logistics company with many sites across the UK.

The successful candidates will be required to use a skeleton trailer to collect containers and deliver them to customers, making 1 3 deliveries a day, which may also include trailer swaps.

Drivers with 6 months previous container experience are preferred but not essential. Training packages can be provided for the right candidates.

All candidates must undergo an induction and assessment on site prior to working.

Working times are Monday to Friday Nights with start times typically between 17:00pm and 19:00pm, on an ongoing basis.

Job Role:

Candidates must have good communication skills

Driver requirements:

Must have a Category C+E Licence

6 months class 1 containers experience preferred, though not essential as training packages can be provided for the right candidates.

Clean uniforms Hi Viz and company logo uniform can be provided at no cost.

No more than 6 points on licence

Days PAYE - £18.75 - £20.23
Nights PAYE - £20.00 - £21.58
