Job summary

The Best Connection Tamworth are recruiting for a Class 1 (C+E) Night Driver to join our Tamworth client base. This ongoing temporary assignment offers regular night trunking work with a starting time of 22:00 and pay of £18.50 per hour.

As a Class 1 driver you will complete trunking between locations, perform vehicle checks and paperwork, and ensure deliveries are made safely and on time. CPC, Tachograph and Licence requirements apply, with weekly pay and pension contributions as benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience.
• Good understanding of driver\'s hours regulations.
• Reliable and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Starting from the Tamworth depot.
• Driving to Hinckley to collect a trailer and returning to Tamworth for delivery.
• Collecting the Motherwell trailer and travelling to Preston to meet the Scottish driver.
• Returning back to the depot after completion.
• Completing vehicle checks and required paperwork.
• Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time.
• Following all driver\'s hours and Working Time Directive regulations.

The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join our client based in Tamworth.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional HGV driver looking for regular night work involving straightforward trunking duties.

The Role

As a Class 1 (C+E) Driver, you will be responsible for completing trunking operations between locations safely and efficiently.

Duties will include:

• Starting from the Tamworth depot
• Driving to Hinckley to collect a trailer and returning to Tamworth for delivery
• Collecting the Motherwell trailer and travelling to Preston to meet the Scottish driver
• Returning back to the depot after completion
• Completing vehicle checks and required paperwork
