Job summary

GXO Logistics in Hinckley is seeking an experienced Class 1 ADR Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for the secure transport of hazardous goods across the UK for our client Octopus, on a full-time, Monday to Friday pattern with start times around 05:00–06:00 and a 48-hour week.

The role offers a salary of £42,577.00 per year, 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, and access to the Hapi App platform with discounts, a cycle-to-work scheme, cashback cards and more.

Qualifications

• Valid Category CE (Class 1) UK driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• ADR licence, minimum class 9 - hazardous substances.
• Previous experience with hazardous goods transport desirable.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport ADR-classified goods to and from customer sites.
• Carry out vehicle checks, report defects, and ensure safety compliance.
• Follow ADR, Driver Hours, Tachograph, and Health & Safety regulations.
• Accurately complete delivery documentation (ePODs, manifests).
• Represent the company professionally to customers and site contacts.
