Job summary

Driver Hire Darlington is recruiting an experienced Class 1 ADR Driver for immediate start in the Darlington area. This long-term supply role offers the potential to lead to a permanent contract for the right candidate.

As a Class 1 ADR Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and compliant transportation of hazardous goods while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (CE) licence.
• Current ADR qualification.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good knowledge of driver compliance and ADR regulations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ADR products to commercial customers.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.
• Ensure all ADR and transport documentation is completed accurately.
• Operate in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Maintain high safety standards at all times.

Driver Hire Darlington is currently recruiting an experienced Class 1 ADR Driver for an immediate start with one of our established clients in the Darlington area. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional ADR-qualified driver seeking long-term, stable employment. The role is offered on a long-term supply basis with the potential to lead to a permanent contract for the right candidate.

The Role

As a Class 1 ADR Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and compliant transportation of hazardous goods while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

Duties will include:

• Delivering ADR products to commercial customers
• Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Ensuring all ADR and transport documentation is completed accurately
• Operating in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Maintaining high safety standards at all times
• Representing both Driver Hire and our client professionally

Shift Pattern

• 4 On / 4 Off rota
• Regular, predictable work pattern
• Immediate start available
• Long-term ongoing position
• Permanent contract opportunity following successful supply period
