Job summary

Driver Hire Darlington is actively recruiting an experienced Class 1 ADR Driver for an immediate start with one of our established clients in the Darlington area. This is a long-term supply role with the potential to lead to a permanent contract for the right candidate.

As a Class 1 ADR Driver you will transport hazardous goods safely, complete daily vehicle checks, ensure accurate ADR documentation, and comply with Drivers’ Hours regulations while representing both Driver Hire and the client

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (CE) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good knowledge of driver compliance and ADR regulations.
• Professional and safety-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences.

Responsibilities

• Delivering ADR products to commercial customers.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.
• Ensuring all ADR and transport documentation is completed accurately.
• Operating in line with Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Maintaining high safety standards at all times.
• Representing both Driver Hire and our client professionally.

Driver Hire Darlington is currently recruiting an experienced Class 1 ADR Driver for an immediate start with one of our established clients in the Darlington area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional ADR-qualified driver seeking long-term, stable employment. The role is offered on a long-term supply basis with the potential to lead to a permanent contract for the right candidate.

The Role

As a Class 1 ADR Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and compliant transportation of hazardous goods while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

Duties will include:

• Delivering ADR products to commercial customers
• Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Ensuring all ADR and transport documentation is completed accurately
• Operating in line with Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Maintaining high safety standards at all times
• Representing both Driver Hire and our client professionally

Shift Pattern

• 4 On / 4 Off rota
• Regular, predictable work pattern
• Long-term ongoing position
• Permanent contract opportunity following successful supply period
