Job summary

Pertemps Leicester Industrial is seeking reliable Class 1 and Class 2 HGV drivers to support deliveries around Kettering. Roles focus on driving box vehicles with unloading duties; loading is minimal.

We offer full-time, part-time or flexible contracts with shifts across mornings, afternoons, nights and weekends, with pay rates tied to licence class. Applicants must hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) licence, Driver CPC and tachograph card.

Qualifications

• A valid Class 1 (Category C+E) or Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• A valid Driver CPC.
• A valid digital tachograph card.
• A safe, responsible and professional approach to driving.
• Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons and weekends, with night shifts also available.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate box vehicles in accordance with road safety regulations.
• Carry out unloading duties as required.
• Complete vehicle safety checks before and after journeys.
• Follow all site procedures and health and safety requirements.
• Maintain a professional attitude when dealing with colleagues, customers and site staff.
• Ensure all relevant driving and delivery documentation is completed accurately.
