Job summary

Berry Recruitment is seeking experienced Class 1 & 2 drivers to deliver to stores in London from Hatfield. You will typically handle 1–2 drops per day with a 4–5am start, working up to 40 hours per week. The role is temp to perm, with a 12-week initial period and weekly pay during the temp phase.

You will undergo a 3-hour induction including theory, practical test, and a drug test. A clean driving licence is preferred, and full compliance with safety standards is expected.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence (Class 1 or 2) is required; clean licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to stores in London with 1–2 drops per day.
• Start early mornings (4–5am) and complete 40 hours per week.

Job description

My client based in Hatfield are seeking experienced Class 1 & 2 drivers to deliver to stores in London - 1-2 drops a day which gives a really good work life balance. The role is temp to perm and you will be expected to complete a 3 hour induction which will include a theory and practical test as well as a drug test. The role is 4-5am start with a total of 40 hours to be worked for the week based on an 8 hour day. The pay rate is competitive and as you temp you will accrue holiday pay.

There is opportunity to grow within this dynamic company which offers stability and security. You will be professional, organised, and have good driving skills and a clean driving licence (ideally!) The staff satisfaction at this site is fantastic and the current drivers enjoy working there. You would temp for 12 weeks on weekly pay and then subject to performance and a review you will be offered a permanent contract.
