Job summary

Allianz UK is hiring a Claims Resolution Handler (Level 1) to join a fast-paced, customer-focused team. You will manage, validate and settle third party vehicle and property damage claims, balancing customer outcomes with commercial needs.

The role is hybrid, based in Bournemouth, Leeds or Chelmsford, requiring some office attendance and training. You’ll work with customers, insurers, solicitors and colleagues to deliver right outcomes, with support for flexible working.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication with ability to explain decisions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Speak with customers, suppliers, insurers, solicitors, and internal teams to progress claims.
• Validate claims with customers.
• Investigate alleged non-involvement claims.
• Negotiate and settle third party vehicle and property damage claims.
• Take ownership of involved conversations, resolving issues effectively and fairly.
• Manage objections and complaints professionally with empathy.
• Balance customer service with commercial awareness and timely decisions.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and improve processes.
