Job summary

Chaucer is seeking a Claims Operations Analyst to support the Claims department across all classes of business from an operational perspective. You will report to the Head of Claims Operations and Delegated Authority, helping to develop and deliver Chaucer Claims Service.

The role includes re-engineering key processes, managing work streams for group initiatives, ensuring accuracy of procedures, and producing regulatory reports such as Conduct Risk and Solvency II.

Qualifications

• Strong numerical skills and advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in an operational role within insurance is essential.
• Educated to A level standard with Lloyd's/Lirma exposure is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with re-engineering of key processes within Claims.
• Manage Claims work streams for Chaucer Group initiatives.
• Ensure accuracy of Claims Department procedures and process maps.
• Liaise with IT to ensure timely and appropriate claims IT projects and test management.
• Design and implement statistical and narrative claims reports and set performance targets.
• Oversee external partners and bordereau processing/mapping.
• Produce key regulatory reporting such as Conduct Risk and Solvency II.
