Claims Handler - Third Party Property Damage

Salary: £27,750- £31,500 (Depending on experience)

Hours: 37.5 Hours (Monday-Friday, between 8am-5:30pm)

Location: Bexhill (Hybrid Working - 1 day a week in the office)

Start Date: 16th of June

Role Purpose

As a Third-Party Property Damage Claims Handler, you'll investigate and resolve third-party property damage claims, assessing liability and negotiating settlements while providing excellent customer service.

Job Responsibilities
  • Investigate and assess claims, gathering relevant information and evidence.
  • Negotiate and settle claims with external parties.
  • Review policy documentation to determine coverage.
  • Evaluate liability and settlement amounts.
  • Manage a caseload of claims, adhering to guidelines and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of claims activities.

  • Experience in liability investigations and negotiations, preferably in insurance or legal fields.
  • Strong analytical skills for assessing claims and liabilities.
