Overview

• We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Claims Handler to join our clients Global Markets team.
• As a Claims Handler, you will play a crucial role in processing and settling complex claims related to aviation, energy, marine, and liability within the global market.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess various types of claims including aviation (cargo and hull), energy (offshore), casualty, marine (cargo and hull), and liability claims.
• Communicate with clients, brokers, and underwriters to gather necessary information and documentation for claims processing.
• Analyse policy coverage and applicable laws to determine the validity of claims.
• Conduct thorough investigations and collaborate with other departments to resolve and settle claims in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate claim files and documentation while adhering to compliance and regulatory standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients throughout the claims process.

Qualifications

• CII, or working towards preferred.

Experience

• Experience in handling complex claims within the aviation, energy, marine, and liability fields preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Familiarity with insurance policies, regulations, and legal considerations.

Day-to-Day

• Reviewing and prioritising incoming claims.
• Analysing claim documentation and supporting evidence.
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintaining accurate claim records and databases.
• Keeping up-to-date with industry developments and regulations.
