Job Description:

An exciting opportunity to further strengthen the claims team and to ensure the delivery of high-quality claims service to policyholders, brokers, underwriters, and capacity providers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex claims, focusing on Directors & Officers (D&O), Employment Practices Liability (EPL), Financial Institutions (FI), and Warranty & Indemnity (W&I) risks. Jurisdictional knowledge across regions such as the US, Canada, Australia, Israel, the UK, and Europe is beneficial.

This role involves cross-functional collaboration with colleagues in Claims, Underwriting, Finance, IT, and Product Development, and requires compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Proactively manage claims from first notification through to resolution, including coverage, liability, and quantum analysis.
  2. Ensure adherence to internal claims handling guidelines, SLAs, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., FCA, Lloyd’s).
  3. Maintain strong relationships with policyholders, brokers, and capacity providers.
  4. Accurately reserve and pursue third-party recoveries where applicable.
  5. Monitor legal deadlines and ensure timely responses to claims queries and litigation.
  6. Collaborate with external legal and adjusting service providers.
  7. Perform general administrative tasks including file management, reporting, and payment requests.
  8. Contribute feedback to underwriting and product teams on claims trends and policy development.
  9. Escalate any significant issues to the appropriate team leaders or claims management.
