Job summary

The Emerald Group in London is seeking an experienced Claims Adjuster to join its market-leading Errors and Omissions team. You will handle a defined class of US and international EO claims with authority agreed with Head of Claims.

Ideal candidates will have demonstrable EO claims experience, solid technical claims knowledge, and working knowledge of London market systems such as ECF; ACII qualification is advantageous and progression is encouraged.

• Demonstrable EO claims experience is essential.
• Strong technical claims knowledge.
• Familiarity with London market systems (ECF) beneficial.

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Claims Adjuster to join their well-established and market leading Errors and Omissions Team to perform claims handling and claims related administration

• Location: London

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Handle specific class of business, US and International Errors and Omissions, claims for which claims authority has been agreed with the Head of Claims
• Ensure the Syndicate meets internal and external standards for claims handling and customer service
• Manage end to end claims processes through the use of Syndicate systems
• Maintain positive relationships with clients and brokers and third-party experts
• Part ACII qualified or working towards ACII would be advantageous
• Demonstrable claims background within Errors and Omissions is essential
• Technically sound claims knowledge
• Working knowledge of London market claims systems (ECF)
