An exciting opportunity arises for a Lead Alcohol Liaison Nurse at NHS Grampian, based at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. The role involves managing assessments for patients with alcohol-related issues and supporting staff education in a compassionate healthcare setting.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse to join the Alcohol Liaison Nursing team based at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. The service provides a key link between hospital, community alcohol and drugs services, the third sector, and wider care providers. You will be responsible for person-centred, holistic assessment of patients who present to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with alcohol-related issues within the NHS Grampian region. You will participate in support and education of staff within the acute hospital setting.
We are looking for highly motivated, compassionate registered nurses with enhanced communication skills from either an adult (RGN) or mental health (RMN) nursing background who have previous experience or a genuine interest in addiction care.
You will be responsible for managing a team, working with patients, carers, and other professionals/agencies in line with legislative frameworks, agreed standards, and clinical policies.
An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates.
