Job summary

Project Partners are recruiting a Civils Supervisor for our East Sussex-based team to oversee reactive civil works and coordinate gangs on site. The role focuses on ensuring work progresses to plan, maintains safety standards, and aligns with design specifications.

You will supervise crews, liaise with the civils manager, inspect workmanship for quality, and drive efficiency in daily operations. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of civils and drainage works.
• Excellent problem-solving ability.
• Effective and clear communication skills.
• Experience running gangs (managing and leading).
• Competent in basic IT applications.

Responsibilities

• Over-see day-to-day operations on reactive civil site, ensuring that work progresses according to plan
• Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Co-ordinate the activities of workers, sub-contractors and equipment operators
• Inspect work for compliance with design specifications and industry standards
• Ensure that all completed work meets quality standards before sign-off
• Enforce health and safety regulations on-site, ensuring that all workers adhere to safety procedures
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits
• Serve as the main point of contact between the site workforce and civils manager
• Address and resolve any conflicts or issues within the team

Hourly rate: £19 - £21ph

Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Project Partners are now recruiting for an experienced Civils Supervisor to come and join an established team based in East Sussex, working within the Water Utilities / Civils sector. The purpose of this role is too oversea and co-ordinate reactive civil works.

Job Responsibilities:
