RTL Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Manager for a major onshore wind farm project in Suffolk. Immediate start on a long-term civils contract overseeing groundworks, earthworks, and turbine foundations, with responsibility for safety, programme, and quality.

The role requires proven civils/site management experience, wind energy exposure is highly desirable, and certifications including CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within civils, groundworks or infrastructure.
• Experience on wind farms, renewables or major infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
• CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid certifications are required.
• Strong health and safety and quality awareness.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day site operations across the wind farm project.
• Supervise subcontractors and site teams.
• Oversee groundworks, earthworks and concrete works.
• Oversee turbine foundations, crane pads, access roads and drainage.
• Coordinate cable routes, ducting and associated infrastructure.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, to programme and to specification.
• Review RAMS and site documentation.
• Monitor progress, quality and health & safety.
• Coordinate with the wider project team and specialist contractors.
• Report into the Project/Construction Manager.

Site Manager - Onshore Wind Farm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a major onshore wind farm project in Suffolk.

This is a long-term opportunity for a Site Manager with a strong background in civil engineering, groundworks and renewable energy infrastructure, with experience managing large-scale earthworks and associated infrastructure works.

The Role:

• Managing day-to-day site operations across the wind farm project
• Supervising subcontractors and site teams
• Managing groundworks, earthworks and concrete works
• Overseeing turbine foundations, crane pads, access roads and drainage
• Coordinating cable routes, ducting and associated infrastructure
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to specification
• Reviewing RAMS and site documentation
• Monitoring progress, quality and health & safety
• Coordinating with the wider project team and specialist contractors
• Reporting into the Project/Construction Manager

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within civils, groundworks or infrastructure
• Previous experience on wind farms, renewable energy or major infrastructure projects is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of groundworks, earthworks and concrete constructionExperience managing subcontractors and multiple work fronts
