Job summary

Advance TRS is seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a major civils project in Argyll & Bute. You will support groundwork and civil packages, perform setting out and surveying, and ensure works align with drawings and procedures.

Role requires CSCS, proven surveying/setting out, and ability to read drawings; LR/RC knowledge and experience with drainage or highways is advantageous. Lodging rooms are available on site.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Engineer on civil/infrastructure projects.
• Strong background in groundwork and civils.
• Proven setting out and surveying experience.
• Experience with ITPs, QA/QC and construction documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out setting out and surveying for civils and groundwork activities.
• Ensure works delivered in line with drawings, specs and procedures.
• Maintain ITPs, QA/QC documentation and site records.
• Provide technical support to site teams and subcontractors.
• Review drawings, raise technical queries and resolve site issues.
• Coordinate subcontractors, materials, plant and labour as required.
• Monitor progress and provide updates to Site/Project teams.
• Ensure works are delivered safely and to required quality.
