Job summary

OneWay Recruit seeks a Site Engineer - Civils for a Groundwork project in the Luton area. Immediate start, Day rate £300 to £340. The role requires strong experience in Groundworks and RC Frames, QA compliance, and setting out using Laser Levels, Total Stations, and GPS devices.

Ideal candidates will have AutoCAD proficiency, the ability to read drawings, quantify materials, and manage on-site information flow to the team. Ongoing civil works exposure is beneficial.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have previous Groundworks and RC project experience.
• Strong knowledge of Laser Levels, Total Stations, and GPS.
• Ability to monitor and distribute project information on site and maintain setting out accuracy.
• QA procedures and site diary maintenance are essential.
• Competent in AutoCAD, reading drawings, and quantifying materials.
• Experience carrying out ITPs, KPIs, and RFIs.

Responsibilities

• Set out works and check dimensional control to design specs.
• Manage and distribute project information to site team.
• Ensure QA procedures and site diary are maintained.
• Read drawings and quantify materials required.
• Produce ITPs, KPIs, and RFIs as part of QA process.
