Elvet Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Agent / Site Manager to oversee heavy civils and water infrastructure projects across South and West Yorkshire on behalf of a civil engineering contractor. Responsibilities include site setup, coordination with Yorkshire Water, and ensuring HSE compliance.

Proven leadership on £5m+ schemes, drainage and reinforced concrete experience, and NEC contract familiarity are essential.SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid and a full driving licence are required, with

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience at Site Manager / Site Agent level on heavy civils / water infrastructure projects (£5m+).
• Experience with drainage, excavations, reinforced concrete.
• SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid and Full Driving Licence.
• Experience with NEC3/NEC4 contracts desired.
• Industry qualification (HNC/HND or Degree) beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage project at setup and site stages.
• Involvement with contract changes: EW's and CE's.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and client team on site.
• Ensure site H&S is established and followed.
• Liaison with Yorkshire Water as clients.
• Temporary Works coordination and supervision.
• Management of direct labour.
• Produce progress reports.
• HSE documentation and site audits with client.
• Keeping site folders up to date.

Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Site Agent / Site Manager on behalf of a civil engineering contractor to oversee projects across South & West Yorkshire…

This sizeable contractor have been established several decades and operate across a variety of frameworks with a specialism in heavy civil engineering & utilities. They have consistent work secured from the ongoing Yorkshire Water AMP8 framework until 2030.

Projects: storm tanks, combined sewer overflows and water treatment upgrades. Scope of works on these includes: shaft sinking, manhole construction, deep drainage, re-enforced concrete, pumping stations and pipework / concrete packages.

Due to the framework agreement, all work is within the Yorkshire Water regional area. A number of projects secured across Barnsley, Sheffield, Doncaster, Wakefield, Leeds and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities as Agent / Manager:

• Manage project at setup & site stages
• Involvement with contract changes: EW's and CE's
• Coordinate with stakeholders & client team on site

• Liaison with Yorkshire Water as clients

Experience required:

• Must have proven experience at Site Manager / Site Agent level leading heavy civils / water infrastructure projects (values £5m+)
• Must have experience managing permanent and temporary works
• Must have experience with drainage, excavations, re-enforced concrete
• Site Engineer background is advantageous
• Working knowledge of NEC3 / NEC4 contracts desired
• Industry related qualification is beneficial (HNC/HND or Degree)
• Must hold: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid and Full Driver's License

Remuneration:

A salary of up to £60,000 (dependent upon experience) plus:

• 1. Company vehicle or car allowance
• 2. Fuel for business mileage
• 3. Annual leave
