Job summary

A leading UK contractor is seeking a Senior Engineer for a Groundworks/Civils Project in Bristol. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a senior engineering role and be responsible for managing project performance, ensuring successful delivery, and adhering to Health & Safety standards. A degree in Engineering or Construction and CSCS/SMSTS certifications are required for this position.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Senior Engineer role or similar.
• Prepared RAMS and supervised project delivery.
• Relevant experience in Groundworks, Civils, and Drainage.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial performance of the project.
• Ensure successful delivery of the projects.
• Undertake risk assessments and report incidents.

Overview

I am currently seeking a Permanent Senior Engineer to work with a UK Contractor on a Groundworks / Civils Project in Bristol.

Responsibilities

• Maintain responsibility for the commercial performance of the project
• Be responsible for the successful delivery of projects
• Preparation of RAMS and supervise delivery of them
• Comply with Health & Safety policy and defined standards and processes when managing and delivering projects, undertake risk assessments, report incidents, accidents and near misses where appropriate
• Aid Project Manager / Contracts Manager in developing client relationships within the key strategic work areas
• Ad-Hoc Senior Engineer duties as required

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as a Senior Engineer, Agent / Sub Agent or Section Engineer ready to take a step up or similar
• CSCS, SMSTS, 2x References
• Relevant experience within Civils, Groundworks, Drainage, Service Installation
• Degree within Engineering, Construction or similar
