Job summary

Fawkes & Reece South are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join a busy team delivering civils and infrastructure projects across the South West and Wales. You will report to a Senior QS in a small team and be involved in forecasting, cost control and subcontractor liaison.

The successful candidate will hold a Quantity Surveying degree, understand core QS principles, and be eligible to work in the UK with a driving licence for site visits.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Knowledge of basic quantity surveying principles.
• Eligible to work in the UK (no sponsorship).
• Ability to drive as site visits are required.

Responsibilities

• Accurate monthly forecasting.
• Produce and send enquiries with documentation to subcontractors.
• Produce monthly reports and cost value reconciliation.
• Manage change control and compensation events.
• Produce, submit, and agree monthly applications.
• Attend weekly progress meetings.
