Job summary

Green Frog Connect is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to lead multiple civil works tied to high-voltage grid connections and power infrastructure across the UK. You will report to the Head of Civils and oversee site teams, subcontractors and stakeholders to deliver projects safely, on programme and within budget.

The role requires at least 4 years in civil/electrical contracting, HV infrastructure knowledge, and strong programme and budget management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' experience in civil, electrical, or contracting environments.
• NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management or NEBOSH, IOSH, or SMSTS.
• Strong understanding of high-voltage power infrastructure; experience in power generation and civil works preferred.
• Proven experience managing programmes, budgets, and subcontractors.
• Confident stakeholder manager with clear communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel and occasional overnight stays as required.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver multiple civil engineering projects supporting high-voltage grid connections and power infrastructure.
• Manage site teams, subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Take ownership of day-to-day project delivery from site mobilisation through to completion.
• Ensure quality, compliance and strong communication throughout the project lifecycle.

About Us

Green Frog Connect is the UK's leading independent connection provider (ICP) and EPC contractor for power generation and energy storage projects. Our team designs and builds grid connections and power stations—up to 132kV—for renewable developers, energy-from-waste plants, industrial and commercial clients, and EV charging providers.

The Role

As a Civil Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering multiple civil engineering projects that support high-voltage grid connections and power infrastructure. Reporting to the Head of Civils, you'll manage site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget.

You’ll take ownership of day-to-day project delivery, from site mobilisation through to completion, ensuring quality, compliance, and strong communication throughout.

What You’ll Bring

Location

The role will be aligned to one of the following regions, with remote working and access to a regional office:

• North East, Yorkshire & Lincolnshire
• North West & Midlands
