Romans Recruitment Group Ltd is seeking a Civils Project Manager in Newcastle upon Tyne to manage site activities, ensure safety and quality, and deliver projects on time and within budget. You will lead a team of staff and subcontractors and liaise with clients to drive successful outcomes.
The role requires strong leadership, CSCS/SMSTS, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to manage complex civil projects in a fast-paced environment.

As Project Manager you will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of Site Management, ensuring site performance and progress meet contractual requirements and that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
In this role you will be responsible to the Civils Construction Manager.

You will contribute to the overall running and continuous improvement of the business, along with the development of the Construction Department, by ensuring the highest professional standards are maintained to continually improve the service provided to clients.

You will be expected to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality at all times regarding the business and its clients. You must work efficiently and safely at all times in accordance with appropriate training, company safety policies and HSE guidelines.
Your ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues and maintain high professional standards is essential, alongside the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
You should demonstrate initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision, prioritise workloads, meet strict deadlines and maintain a high level of attention to detail. An enthusiastic, flexible and conscientious approach to work is expected.
Following induction, you should demonstrate a clear understanding of the organisation's structure, values and procedures, including QEMS requirements. You must also notify your line manager immediately of any visits to site from external agencies such as the Health & Safety Executive or Environmental Health Officers.
