Job summary

Logical Personnel Solutions are recruiting an experienced Civils Project Manager for a commercial project in Morecambe. You will deliver a substantial external works package including drainage, edging, pathways, loading areas, hardstanding and public areas, coordinating site teams and subcontractors.

This client-facing role requires ownership of the project, leadership on site, and a strong focus on quality, programme and delivery success.

Qualifications

• Strong project management experience within civil engineering.
• Proven experience delivering external works packages on commercial projects.
• Excellent knowledge of drainage, groundworks and associated civils.
• CSCS Black Card or equivalent required.
• First Aid at Work certification preferred.
• Strong client liaison and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven leadership and subcontractor management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day delivery of works and coordinate site teams and subcontractors.
• Maintain programme and quality standards across the project.
• Liaise closely with the client to ensure expectations are met.
• Take ownership on site and drive progress and problem-solving.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and commercial targets.

Job description

Logical Personnel Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Civils Project Manager to join a well-established Tier 2 contractor on a commercial project in Morecambe.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the delivery of a substantial external works package, including:

• Drainage


• Edgings and kerbing


• Pathways and pedestrian areas


• Loading areas


• External hardstanding


• Public and communal areas


• Associated groundworks and civils


• General finishing works

You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of the works, coordinating site teams and subcontractors, maintaining programme and quality standards, and working closely with the client throughout the project.

This is a key client-facing position and requires somebody who can take ownership of the project, lead effectively on site and maintain a strong focus on quality, programme and successful delivery.

The successful candidate must have:

• Strong Project Management experience within civil engineering


• Proven experience delivering external works packages on commercial projects


• Excellent knowledge of drainage, groundworks and associated civils


• CSCS Black Card or equivalent


• First Aid at Work


• Strong client liaison and stakeholder management skills


• Proven leadership and subcontractor management experience

• Two recent and relevant references

This position would suit an experienced Civils Project Manager with a strong delivery background who is confident managing both the operational and client-facing aspects of a project.

Rate: Up to £400 per day, dependent on experience.
