Job summary

Search Consultancy LTD is recruiting two Skilled Civils Operatives for a major 400kV substation project in Pembroke. The role focuses on drainage, ducting, excavation, concrete works and reinstatement, with surface water and oil drainage work, and LV/HV ducting installations.

Shifts are 07:30–17:30, Monday to Friday, on a temporary contract; 50 hours per week. HSG47 Safe Digging is essential; PPE provided on site.

Qualifications

• Groundworker with utilities/substation project experience.
• HSG47 / Safe Digging 2 Day qualification is essential.
• Ability to undertake drainage, ducting and reinstatement works.
• Full PPE must be available before starting on site.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Install drainage, ducting, and reinstatement at the substation.
• Install LV/HV ducting and precast troughing.
• Excavate, backfill, and place concrete for foundations.
• Work safely on site in line with procedures.
