Job summary

Corrie Recruitment Limited seeks an experienced Ganger for ongoing civils work in Dundonnell. You will lead a crew, coordinate culvert installations, allocate tasks, and ensure targets and safety standards are met. The role runs on a 11 days on / 3 days off rotation, with start ASAP.

Rates are £26 per hour basic or £31 per hour for CIS weekend work. Travel time is paid and accommodation may be provided for non-local workers, with long-term opportunities for the right person.

Qualifications

• CSCS card essential.
• SSSTS/ SMSTS ticket advantageous.
• Proven experience leading a civils squad with safety and quality.
• Experience with culvert installation, bedding, alignment and backfilling.
• Strong health & safety practices.
• Strong leadership and communication.
• Reliable, punctual, safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew of civils groundworkers.
• Work related to culvert installation.
• Allocate daily tasks and meet targets.
• Conduct toolbox talks and briefings.
• Assist site trades as required.
• Oversee drainage, ducting and general civils site works.
• Ensure work is high quality and aligns with health & safety guidelines.
