VEA Telecoms UK is currently recruiting for the roles of Civils Operatives, based in Kendal, with work across various sites in Cumbria.

Due to the high risks involved, Civils Operatives must be responsible individuals with a strong focus on safety. The ideal candidate should have experience in different types of groundworks.

Key responsibilities:

1. Take responsibility for safety, quality, environmental aspects of the work site, and the welfare of colleagues.
2. Plan and coordinate site works according to client instructions and the Operations Manager.
3. Ensure equipment, materials, and site arrangements are prepared at the start of each day, possibly requiring early starts.
4. Conduct daily risk assessments and ensure all safety, health, and environmental requirements are met to maintain safe operations.
5. Experience in dealing with blockages and reinstatements.

This role is crucial for progressing to the build stage and supporting the growth of our Telecoms presence.
