Mitie Group plc. in the UK is seeking a Civils Design Manager to lead civil design across multiple projects within the security and utilities sector, ensuring designs meet safety, schedule and regulatory requirements.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, mentor civil engineers, establish design standards and procedures, and drive practical, buildable solutions from concept through commissioning across the project lifecycle.

Competenze

• Must have proven management and leadership experience.
• Strong track record in civil design.
• Qualified civil engineer preferred.
• Knowledge of design codes, standards and regulations.
• Experience in design management, project controls and governance.
• Experience in utilities or regulated industries is essential.
• Familiar with National Grid and NGT or Cadent preferred.

• Lead the planning, development, review, and delivery of civil engineering designs for company projects.
• Manage internal and external design resources, consultants, and engineering partners.
• Establish design strategies, standards, and procedures to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
