NRL is seeking a Civil Work Engineer for an on-site Oil & Gas project in Talacre. The role emphasizes strong technical design and coordination skills across civil works, with a competitive daily rate and an on-site, 5.5 days per week pattern.

The ideal candidate holds a BSc in Civil Engineering, BIM coordination certification, and solid Eurocode knowledge, with proficiency in 3D modeling tools such as MAT 3D and SP3D. Open BIM practices apply on this major project.

Qualifications

• Proven civil work engineer experience in Oil & Gas and energy projects.
• BSc in Civil Engineering.
• BIM Coordinator Certification.
• Strong knowledge of Eurocode.
• Proficiency with Office 365 and 3D modelling tools.

Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned goals and meet project quality and contractual requirements.
• Prepare detailed BOQs for civil works and MTOs for steel structures using 3D modelling tools.
• Develop technical documentation for engineering annexes and subcontracting activities.
• Design drainage, plumbing, and sewage systems for buildings and site infrastructure.
• Conduct studies for foundations and concrete structures.
• Perform quality checks across all project documents, including vendor submissions.
• Verify structural BIM models in line with OpenBIM best practices and project requirements.
• Oversee and approve engineering designs and construction drawings for civil foundations, concrete structures, and buildings.
• Implement discipline follow-up activities and provide on-site engineering support.

Civil Work Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Civil Work Engineer to join an Oil & Gas project based on-site in Talacre. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical design and coordination skills, experienced in civil works for energy projects. It’s an excellent opportunity to work on a major project with a competitive daily rate.

Salary £500 per day Outside IR35 Contract Position

Location and Working Pattern: Talacre – On-site, 5.5 days per week
