Job summary

The role is for a Senior-Level Design Coordinator supporting a major upgrade to an operational UK gas terminal, with hybrid working from Warrington. • Knowledge of IGEM standards.
• Knowledge of G17 and/or G35 specifications.
• Knowledge of BIM and common data environments.
• Understanding of the full project lifecycle and design management.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Project delivery experience would be preferable.

Responsibilities

Design Coordinator (Senior level) - Major Energy Infrastructure (Gas Terminal)

Location: Warrington Office / Hybrid working arrangement

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience + Benefits

Contract option: Negotiable depending on experience

Project value: £40 million-£70 million

Start: ASAP

I'm recruiting a Senior-Level Design Coordinator on behalf of a leading UK infrastructure contractor delivering major energy, gas transmission and distribution projects.

This role will initially support a major upgrade to an operational UK gas terminal. The project is predominantly mechanical, with additional EC&I scope, and is currently entering an immediate design review phase ahead of construction beginning in June 2027.

You will coordinate the delivery of engineering design information, manage external design partners and ensure multidisciplinary designs are fully integrated, issued on programme and aligned with the project requirements.
