Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in the UK is seeking a Civil & Structural Engineering Lead to provide technical leadership across major industrial decarbonisation and infrastructure projects in energy and heat decarbonisation programmes.

You will lead the design, integration and assurance of civil and structural solutions, oversee foundations, drainage, utilities and supporting infrastructure, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, compliant and sustainable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified civil or structural engineer with experience delivering complex industrial/infrastructure projects.
• Chartered status is desirable but not essential.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of civil/structural engineering solutions for energy infrastructure and decarbonisation projects (foundations, steelwork, concrete, drainage, utilities).
• Oversee feasibility studies, detailed design, structural assessments and technical assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, standards and best practices.
• Drive constructability, cost efficiency, risk management and whole-life performance improvements.
