Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is toplining the UK nuclear sector with civil and structural CS&A engineering expertise. The role involves delivering a wide range of tasks within multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance and client satisfaction on complex projects while mentoring junior engineers and designers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil, Structural or Architecture Engineering.
• Incorporated Engineer (IEng) with ICE is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in CS&A engineering, nuclear sector ideal.
• Able to pass BPSS security checks for site work.
• Knowledge of CDM, codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead CS&A engineering activities on assigned projects as technical contact.
• Deliver tasks independently and own technical outcomes.
• Review work from consultants and subcontractors for quality and compliance.
• Resolve technical issues and justify design decisions.
• Develop design bases, specs, calculations and reports.
• Produce and verify drawings, reviews, change documents, and notes.
• Ensure designs comply with codes, CDM, and internal procedures.
• Present CS&A designs to clients and stakeholders.
• Deliver outputs within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Prepare technically accurate, well-formatted documentation.
