Job title: Civil and Structural Designer

Location: Warrington -- Hybrid

Job type: Permanent and Contract (Inside IR35)

Our client, an engineering company, is seeking a Civil & Structural Designer for a permanent and contract position in Warrington. This role is within the Oil & Gas, Construction, or highly regulated industries.

We have both contract and permanent positions available.

Role

As a Civil & Structural Designer, you will be responsible for carrying out all design activities, participating in internal and external design reviews, and supporting the Project Design Lead & Lead Civil and Structural Engineer.

Depending on the size and complexity of the project, you may be the responsible Civil and Structural designer for one project or a portfolio of projects. You will interpret general arrangement drawings and scopes of work, developing them into engineering designs.

You will identify changes to the design scope and report them to the Project Design Lead & Lead Engineer. Drive quality in all engineering designs, including checking discipline design deliverables to company procedures.
