Job summary

Romans Recruitment Group Ltd is recruiting for a Civils Site Manager to lead day-to-day civil engineering on site in Newcastle upon Tyne, ensuring works are delivered safely, to required quality and in line with programme and budget.

You will manage site teams, subcontractors, materials and plant resources, maintaining clear communication with clients, consultants and stakeholders, and ensuring documentation, RAMS and daily diaries are kept up to date.

Qualifications

• SMSTS, CSCS Management Card, First Aid at Work and Full UK Driving Licence are essential.
• Proven experience as a Civil Site Manager on on-site civil projects.
• Strong leadership, planning and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations to deliver safely and in line with programme.
• Coordinate direct labour, subcontractors, materials and plant resources.
• Ensure health and safety compliance, RAMS, site inductions and toolbox talks.
• Maintain quality standards, progress reporting and documentation.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and stakeholders as main on-site contact.
• Identify risks, manage issues and drive continuous improvement.
