Job summary

Streamline Search Ltd. is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day delivery of a £4 million civils-focused project in Burton-upon-Trent.

You will lead site teams and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality and on-time progress from mobilisation through to completion. The role requires hands-on Civils expertise, strong organisational skills, and a clear understanding of RAMS and site procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in civil engineering or construction.
• Experience delivering projects around £4 million or on substantial civils packages.
• Strong knowledge of civils, infrastructure, groundworks or similar works.
• SMSTS and CSCS certifications.
• Availability to commit to a minimum 44-week contract.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations on a £4 million civils-focused project.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, plant, materials and deliveries.
• Monitor progress against project programmes and report delays or issues.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, RAMS and site procedures.
• Conduct site inspections and maintain quality control standards.
• Attend site meetings and liaise with the Project Manager and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate site records, daily reports and documentation.
• Identify and resolve site issues to ensure safe and efficient delivery.
