Job summary

Doocey Group, a long-established family-run contractor, invites applications for a Program Planner to develop and manage project programmes in Primavera P6 or MS Project. You will ensure timely delivery, monitor risks and advise on corrective actions, engaging with site teams and subcontractors across multiple projects.

Excellent planning discipline, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience with NEC-style contracts will help you succeed in a fast-paced environment in Tipton.

Qualifications

• Proven planning experience in civil/utility/construction environments.
• Strong scheduling, reporting and programme management skills.
• Knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 or similar contracts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and manage project programmes using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Monitor progress with site teams, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Update schedules and forecasts based on progress and risks.
• Prepare and distribute look-ahead programmes to operations teams.
• Lead planning meetings and report programme status, milestones and constraints.
• Ensure planning systems and project controls are accurate.
• Integrate subcontractor, design, procurement and interface schedules.
• Produce weekly/monthly programme reports for stakeholders.
• Identify schedule risks and mitigation actions.
• Support commercial teams with programme impact of variations.
