Job summary

McLaughlin & Harvey is seeking a Project Manager to lead and deliver civil engineering projects across the UK with values between £10M and £150M. You will oversee scope, programme, cost, quality and safety while maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships.

The role requires NEC contract knowledge, a strong health and safety focus, and willingness to work throughout the UK. A valid driving licence is essential, and the successful candidate will join a forward-thinking team

Qualifications

Degree in civil engineering or equivalent in a related field.
Strong knowledge of NEC or other civil engineering contract forms.
Sound understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations.
The successful candidate must be willing to work throughout the UK.
Valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

Lead and deliver a range of civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
Manage scope, programme, cost, quality, and safety for projects £10M–£150M.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Prepare and manage project documentation, programmes and records.
Produce monthly status reports and participate in project meetings.
Contribute to value engineering and contract compliance.
Ensure compliance with policies and SHEQ operating procedures.
