SSE plc is seeking a Civil Project Engineer based in Scotland to support high-value transmission infrastructure projects. You will lead from initial development to delivery, coordinating with design, construction, and operations teams across Scotland.
You will apply civil engineering knowledge in earthworks, drainage, geotechnical, and structural disciplines, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Base Location: For this role, we require successful applicants to be based from one of our Scottish locations and you'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in the office or on site. Office locations - Glasgow, Aberdeen, Perth, Inverness
Salary: £51,600 - £77,400 + car / car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

SSEN Transmission Onshore AC are currently recruiting for an experienced Civil Project Engineer to support our growing portfolio of projects throughout the delivery of high profile, high value and technically complex projects on the Electricity Transmission network in Scotland.
The role is responsible for taking projects from initial development and design, through to delivery, commissioning and hand over to operations.
