Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting a Civil Principal Contractor Site Manager (PCSM) for National Grid in Buckinghamshire. You will lead high‑voltage civil and infrastructure upgrades, ensuring safety, compliance, and delivery to National Grid standards.

Immediate start, 12‑month rolling contract, daily rate £600–£650 outside IR35, based on site requirements. Required qualifications include SR163 PCSM, SMSTS, First Aid at Work, and a Temporary Works ticket, with HSG47 awareness and NSI 8 Full status.

Qualifications

• Current National Grid SR163 PCSM qualification.
• Valid SMSTS and up-to-date First Aid at Work.
• Temporary Works Coordinator or Supervisor ticket.
• HSG47 (Underground Services) awareness.
• National Grid Competent Person NSI 8 Full status.
• Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Site Leadership: Manage daily civil engineering and construction activities safely.
• Compliance: Enforce National Grid SR163 supplier requirements on-site.
• Safety: Direct temporary works, excavation safety, and risk assessments.
• Coordination: Act as the main liaison between subcontractors and stakeholders.
