Job summary

Randstad Construction & Property is seeking an experienced Civil Principal Contractor Site Manager (PCSM) to lead National Grid upgrade projects in Buckinghamshire. Immediate start on a 12-month rolling contract.

You will ensure site safety, compliance with SR163 requirements, and effective coordination between subcontractors and stakeholders, delivering high-quality civil works on time and within standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold National Grid SR163 PCSM qualification.
• SMSTS and First Aid at Work are required.
• Temporary Works Coordinator/Supervisor ticket preferred.
• Awareness of HSG47 Underground Services is essential.
• National Grid Competent Person (NSI 8 Full) status required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily civil engineering and construction activities on site.
• Enforce National Grid SR163 supplier requirements on-site.
• Direct temporary works, excavation safety and risk assessments.
• Act as main liaison between subcontractors and stakeholders.
