Job summary

Westfield Secondary School is seeking a Civil Litigation Lawyer to join its legal team on a permanent basis. The role requires a qualified solicitor, barrister, or FCILEX with full practising and advocacy rights and experience in civil litigation.

You will work in a hybrid model, attending hearings in person when required, and support both private and public sector matters for the Council. You will manage your caseload, provide authoritative advice to Officers and Members, and help ensure lawful

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor, barrister, or FCILEX with full practising and advocacy rights.
• Experience in Civil Litigation and advocacy in court or tribunals.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage own Civil Litigation caseload with complex matters.
• Provide authoritative advice to Council Officers and Members to ensure lawful decisions.
