Job summary

Paxton Personnel Ltd is seeking an experienced Planner for civil engineering projects in the Highlands. You will develop, manage and monitor detailed construction programmes across a range of infrastructure projects, coordinating with Project Managers, Site Agents and commercial teams to ensure delivery on programme.

The ideal candidate has strong planning software skills (Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, MS Project) and a solid understanding of sequencing, critical path analysis and programme

Qualifications

• Proven experience in planning or programming for civil engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and critical path analysis.
• Experience in tender programmes and live project monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and monitor construction programmes from tender through completion.
• Produce and update project schedules using Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject or MS Project.
• Monitor progress with project teams and identify delays or risks.
• Support tender submissions with programme and phasing plans.
• Provide regular progress updates to management and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure programme alignment.
• Liaise with commercial teams on programme-related information and delay assessments.
• Present planning advice at project meetings throughout the lifecycle of the project.
