Job summary

Arup is seeking Civil Engineers in Glasgow for roles spanning Engineer, Senior Engineer and Principal Engineer within our Energy, Water & Resources team. The work covers renewable energy, water, marine, utilities and defence sectors, with opportunities across the full project lifecycle.

You'll collaborate with experienced engineers and specialists, shaping sustainable infrastructure solutions and developing technical and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• Working towards or achieving chartership; MICE or MIStructE preferred.
• Experience delivering civil infrastructure projects and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver project work across all stages from concept to construction support.
• Produce and review civil designs, calculations, reports and drawings.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams for integrated delivery.
• Manage technical delivery with high standards of quality, safety and engineering excellence.
• Support project management, including programme planning and resourcing.
• Contribute to project commercial performance and budgeting.
• Collaborate with clients, regulators and stakeholders to meet needs.
• Plan and allocate team resources; manage multiple disciplines.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers through day-to-day guidance.
