McCarthy Recruitment is seeking a Contracts Supervisor in Wigan to oversee multiple live projects within highways, roads and civil engineering. The role focuses on delivering projects safely, efficiently and to programme while supporting site teams and coordinating activities.

The ideal candidate will have strong organisational and communication skills, good commercial awareness and a proactive, hands-on management style. A UK driving licence and relevant tickets are desirable as workloads grow.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage multiple live projects.

Responsibilities

• Managing two to three projects simultaneously.
• Supporting and overseeing site supervisors.
• Maintaining programme performance and project delivery.
• Managing labour, plant and resources across contracts.
• Building strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety requirements.
• Monitoring project progress, quality and commercial performance.
• Attending site meetings and coordinating project activities.
• Supporting the continued growth of the contracts division.
