Job summary

Hall & Prior Aged Care Group is seeking an experienced Civil Estimator to prepare accurate tender submissions and quotes for a range of civil construction projects. You will perform quantity take-offs using PlanSwift, source prices from subcontractors and suppliers, and manage tender timeframes with a focus on compliance and deadlines.

Reporting to senior management, you will maintain detailed tender records and support negotiations with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Proven history and experience in civil estimating.
• Strong industry knowledge and networks within civil construction.
• Experience working with local government tenders.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Strong contract negotiation and communication abilities.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work with senior management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate tender submissions, quotes and allowance sheets.
• Undertake full quantity take-offs using PlanSwift.
• Obtain subcontractor, supplier and site prices and availability.
• Review tender documents and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Prepare and manage tender timeframes and methodologies.
• Maintain thorough records of tender documents and correspondence.
• Support contract negotiations and build strong supplier relationships.
