Job summary

Cundall’s Civil Engineering team are involved in designing innovative and sustainable civil engineering solutions to improve and protect the environment while providing infrastructure for daily life. This role offers exposure to a pipeline of exciting projects in the UK and worldwide.

This Technician role involves preparing 2D/3D/BIM models, technical reporting, and collaboration across disciplines. ICE accreditations may be pursued with the firm’s support as you develop your professional skills.

Qualifications

• Strong practical experience in a Civil Engineering role within a design consultancy environment.
• Well-versed in civil design software such as Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Working knowledge of QGIS would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provision of technical inputs across the highways specialism including design drawings and 2D and 3D models.
• Show technical competence using Civils 3D and the Microsoft Office Suite of programmes.
• Have appropriate experience in the design of development infrastructure projects.
• Have a strong understanding of civil engineering design principles.
• Work as part of the team to undertake a range of technical design and written deliverables.
• Knowledge and experience of design software packages including InfoDrainage and KeySign /Post would be advantageous but not essential.
